Altech at Interpack 2011

Altech labeller range enriches with new products shown ah the fair.

Altech labeller range enriches with new products. As well as the usual applicator models – ALstep and ALritma (photo 1), renewed and implemented, also presented in hot-melt and thermal transfer print versions – at Interpack  2011 visitors will se closely a range of novelties: from the simplest and compact ALstep E,  that is rather low-cost, to the advanced ALritma X, capable of getting top performances, that can be seen in operation on a simulator.

Print&apply systems, identified by the ALcode models, today available also with Touch-screen operator panel, also include ALcode LL (photo 2), designed to print& apply linerless labels (with no silicone support) on boxes, shrink-wraps and pallet. The model involves important advantages: lower cost per label, no material waste, higher number of labels per reel, label length to be adjusted in any moment. A simplified linerless labeller version is represented by ALstep LL, without printer, typically used to apply open/close labels on food packages.

As well as these novelties  Interpack also includes systems that have contributed over the years to Altech’s success, starting from ALcode P unit, to print&apply two labels (front+side) on pallet, that enables to label two adjoining sides of the pallet just with one stop, allowing both labels to be checked through scanner as well as the repetition of application cycle in case one of them is not successful. At last in its stand, Altech presents ALline E/C linear system for front/rear/wrapping labelling of cylindrical and oval-shaped packages, proposed in a new aesthetic look, in a shade that is different from the cobalt blue that is typical of Altech.
