MG2 at Interpack 2011

MG2, leader in the manufacture of automatic machines used to dose pharmaceuticals into hard gelatine capsules, will show at Interpack 2011 (Hall 16 - Stand 16D26) a wide selection of its Process Division range.

FlexaLAB (Photo 1): launched at Interpack, it is the latest innovation in the field of machines for R&D laboratories, clinical trials, small batch outputs and special productions. For productions up to 3.000 cps/h, it is based on the same functioning principles as MG2 high speed machines. FlexaLAB can work either at continuous or intermittent motion, depending on the type of dosing unit installed. Thanks to the possibility to install more dosing units at the same time, it enables to make product combinations inside the same capsule, in order to guarantee the maximum flexibility.

Labby (Photo 2): Plug&Play capsule filling machine, modular, simple and compact but fully automatic; it will be equipped with Microdose, the new powder micro-dosing unit fitted with micro-weighing control system, suitable to fill powder checking the net mass and to stop once the set dosing mass has been achieved.

AlterNova (Photo 3): it is the first intermittent motion capsule filler which changes its configuration to meet the most diversified production requirements; it is the only intermittent motion capsule filler which can implement its production speed from 45.000 up to 180.000 cps/h; it can receive up to 4 dosing units at the same time, thus offering a wide range of dosing combinations.

Planeta (Photo 4): a “must” of MG2’s range, the most versatile and complete continuous motion capsule filler. Thanks to its modular design, Planeta allows you to fit up to two different dosing units at the same. These units all have the same base shape on the machine deck (sector design) and are easy to dismantle and interchange. Production speed from 6.000 to 100.000 cps/h.

Moreover, MG2 will show a selection of its Packaging Division (which offers automatic packaging machines for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and foodstuffs):

GSL10 (Photo 5): it is a horizontal case packer suitable to form, fill and close RSC cases. It guarantees positive and forced case opening, reliable product feeding and collation, operator ergonomics, easy and quick size change-over.

HASTA: it’s a revolutionary plunger rod inserting machine (suitable to introduce the piston inside the pre-filled syringe) with a modular design and a compact and reduced footprint. Its production speed is high, thanks to the rotary continuous-motion principles and the compact inserting/screwing head.
