PMR: bottling machines for beer and liqueurs

PMR realizes solutions that allow to optimize productivity while maintaining high quality standards. The current production context is pushing towards the “flexible manufacturing system”, in other words, automations able to respond with effective solutions for both production: the one with low cadence and high variability and the one with high cadence and low variability.

It is increasingly necessary, even in beverage, to find solutions that allow to optimize productivity while maintaining high quality standards. The current production context is pushing towards the “flexible manufacturing system”, in other words, automations able to respond with effective solutions for both production: the one with low cadence and high variability and the one with high cadence and low variability. PMR realizes this type of systems; among the latest installed solutions there is the automatic Monoblock for 75 and 50 ml cylindrical glass bottles, for non-foaming beer filling. The plant is calibrated to allow hourly production in a simple way and without the need for intervention by the operator, except for the loading of the product and containers. This plant is composed of 8 noozles gravity filler and a capping machine for crown caps with diameter of 26 and 29 mm. The dosing nozzles are made of stainless steel with hot sanitized gaskets. The liquid in the tanks is controlled by probes and level relays. The plant is equipped with PLC control panel and touch screen display, which allows an easy and intuitive management and the possibility to have an accurate feedback in case of alarms or anomalies. Productivity: about 1000 pcs/h, depending on the product and the quantity to be dosed. Among the advantages of this bottling solution, there is the compactness of the system, which allows an optimization of the spaces, and practically anon-existent maintenance. For the bottling of liqueurs PMR has designed a filling and capping machine for 50 ml mignon bottles. The machine is equipped with high vacuum level filling system with 16 valves. The filling valves are newly designed with profiles that avoid any possible turbulence of the product to be filled and are completed with anti-drip system. The bottles, arriving on the conveyor, are guided inside the monoblock by means of stars and counter-stars made of HD polyethylene in order to ensure minimum wear and a completely silent operation. The capping station has a mechanical cap elevator, an automatic cap feeder mounted on the top of the machine, and a 3-head capper for aluminum screw caps. The system is completed with loading and unloading system, with electric photocells placed in and out: in case of no arrival of the bottles, the machine stops. The Electronic control of the machine is made viaSiemens touch screen PLC, productivity: 4,000 pcs/h.
