Marchesini Group at Interpack 2011

At Marchesini's stand visitors can find six complete lines and twelve stand-alone machines.

Innovation and integration alongside maximum flexibility, reliability, efficiency and simplicity in machine management.

In brief, these are the crucial concepts that define the six complete lines – two of which are integrated – and the twelve stand-alone machines – featuring the most innovative of technological solutions - that Marchesini Group will present at Interpack 2011 (Hall 8A- Stand F05-G12).

In the forefront there will be a complete blister packaging line for solids MB460 FAST (starting from thermoforming through to palletization), which is the fastest line ever to be produced by Marchesini. The line is able to process 720 blisters per minute (photo 1). Then there will be Integra200, a robotic blister packaging line that integrates the two thermoforming and carton packaging operations in just one unit: Integra200 (photo 2), in the “packed and ready-to-go” version, will be exhibited on its pallet with relevant validation and test documents, ready to be collected by whoever wishes to purchase it at a set price.

For the liquids market, there will be two role-leading lines: one for packaging pre-filled syringes, from assembly through to bundle packaging, and one for packaging vials in a sterile environment, consisting of the in-line filler “Steril 400” with depyrogenation tunnel “Depyr600”.

Worth another mention is the robotic syringe packaging line “Unica” that integrates the deep draw forming and carton packaging operations in just one unit: it will indeed be on a UNICA line that Romeo can be seen at work; Romeo (photo 3) is a wireless controller developed by Marchesini to simplify and speed-up size changing and line control and management processes. To finish-off the complete lines offered by Marchesini Group, there will be a stickpack line for packaging powder products and a line for packaging cosmetics in plastic vials.

And there’s still more to come. Various models of stand-alone machines for each reference typology will be showcased at the Group’s stand: a syringe filler, a machine for filling and closing ampoules, an electronic tablet counter, a machine that fills tubes with cream, a strip packaging machine, a vertical cartoner with alternating motion, a machine for filling vials with liquid cosmetic products and a machine for packaging tea bags produced by the Group’s partner, Teamac.

To conclude, there will be five different models of labellers: a linear labeller for vials, one for insulin pens with puck type conveyance, one completely new labeller for vials and similar products with puck type conveyance and two versions of “track and trace” labellers – one complete version and one basic version – that apply and control traceability codes of pharmaceutical products and other labels.
