CPHI Milan, a global hub for the pharmaceutical industry
From 6 to 8 October 2026, Fiera Milano will host a new edition of CPHI Milan, the largest international event dedicated to pharmaceutical ingredients and technologies.
Organised by Informa Markets, the event confirms its role as a leading platform for the entire life science ecosystem, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, regulatory experts, technology companies and supply chain operators from more than 170 countries.
The 2026 edition of CPHI Milan stands out for a significant expansion of its exhibition offering, with the introduction of four new “specialist zones”, designed to highlight some of the key areas of development in the pharmaceutical industry.
The first, AI & Tech, is dedicated to digital technologies and artificial intelligence-based solutions that are transforming the sector. The area will host companies specialising in smart manufacturing, digital twins, predictive analytics, AI-supported drug development, and tools for optimising production, operational and decision-making processes.
The new Cold Chain & Logistics area will instead focus on technologies and services for cold chain management and pharmaceutical logistics. The topics at the heart of the exhibition will include temperature-controlled transport, digital monitoring systems, dedicated packaging, and solutions to ensure product integrity throughout the entire supply chain.
Considerable attention will also be devoted to the Contamination Control zone, dedicated to technologies for contamination control in pharmaceutical production environments. The area will bring together suppliers of controlled-environment systems, environmental monitoring solutions, and solutions designed to support high quality and safety standards in manufacturing processes.
Completing the picture is the new Labelling area, dedicated to technologies for the labelling and identification of pharmaceutical products. The exhibition space will include solutions for printing, coding, electronic labelling (e-labelling), anti-counterfeiting technologies, and systems aimed at greater sustainability in labelling and packaging processes.
Strong international presence
As in previous editions, numerous national pavilions are expected, with delegations from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. The presence of international clusters will facilitate interaction between operators from established markets and emerging players, offering a comprehensive overview of the dynamics that are reshaping pharmaceutical manufacturing worldwide. In this context, Milan confirms its position as a strategic hub for innovation, thanks to its central position within the European landscape and the strong industrial vocation of the region.
Alongside the exhibition areas, CPHI Milan 2026 will offer a rich programme of conferences, workshops and networking meetings, with a focus on sustainability, technological innovation, emerging regulations and market strategies. In parallel with the trade show, the CPHI Sustainability Summit will also take place, an event dedicated to ESG policies and best practices for reducing the environmental impact of the pharmaceutical industry.
With this edition, CPHI Milan confirms its role as an international hub for innovation, offering a comprehensive overview of the developments that are reshaping the production, distribution and regulation of medicines.
